Kits System

AtomicBot provides a powerful kit system for Rust Console Edition, fully automated and tied into the emote wheel for seamless in-game delivery. Kits are divided into regular player kits and VIP kits, and guild admins can toggle or customize them at any time.

Kit Examples

These images demonstrate how kits appear in-game when players open the emote wheel.

Regular Player Kits (IONNeed)

VIP Kits (IONHave)

Replace these two images with your real screenshots. Recommended: 1920×1080 or similar.

What Are Kits?

Kits are pre-defined sets of items players can request or provide in-game. AtomicBot listens to specific "Here Take This" emote selections and automatically gives the correct kit based on the guild’s configuration.

  • IONNeed — Regular player kits
  • IONHave — VIP-only kits
  • Each kit corresponds to a specific “I need…” or “I have…” emote option
  • Items are delivered instantly via RCON
  • Admin fully controls which kits are on/off
  • Admin controls Kit Reclaim Times

IONNeed vs. IONHave

AtomicBot separates kits into two categories to support VIP perks and fairness:

  • IONNeed (Regular Players)
Basic kits (wood, stone, HQM, food, cloth, water, fragments, etc.).
  • IONHave (VIP Players Only)
Higher-tier kits (bow, tools, early-game upgrades, etc.). Requires VIP role configured in the guild.

VIP access is determined by the guild’s configured VIP Role ID.

How Admins Configure Kits

Guild administrators can toggle kits entirely via Discord using:

/kitsettings TYPE

This command opens an interactive menu where admins can toggle individual kits:

  • IONNeed kits — toggle for regular players
  • IONHave kits — toggle for VIP players only

The bot updates the database instantly. No restart required.

Using Kits In-Game

Players claim kits directly from the emote wheel. No commands required.

  • Open the emote wheel
  • Select "I need…” or "I have…”
  • Select the item category (wood, bow, tool, food, etc.)
  • AtomicBot delivers the kit instantly

If a guild admin has disabled a kit, the bot will state that selection is not enabled.

Admin Notes

  • Kits are controlled by In-Game Kits. You must name your QC kits as listed in the above graphic
  • Guilds can customize kit contents anytiem In-Game
  • IONHave kits require a configured VIP role
  • Players must be linked to Discord for kits to work

Kit customization (editing items, quantities, cooldowns) is coming to the web dashboard.
