Using the Shop (/shop)
The AtomicBot shop lets you spend your server's currency on in-game rewards. Each guild has its own shop, pricing, and enabled items, so what you see depends on how your admins configured it.
1. Player View – How to Use /shop
The shop works in your server's dedicated shop channel only. (This channel is chosen during the main setup.)
- Go to your server's #shop channel.
- Run the command:
/shop. - The bot will post or update a single shop message with the latest offers.
- Use the controls on the message (buttons/menus) to browse categories and items.
- Confirm a purchase when you have enough currency.
Tip: If nothing happens when you run /shop, make sure you're in the correct channel
and that the bot has permission to send embeds and use buttons.
2. What Can You Buy?
Exact items depend on your server's configuration, but typically you’ll see:
- Kits and loadouts
- Emotes / wheel-based rewards
- ZORP time extensions or perks
- Personal Recycler access
- VIP-style perks or QoL upgrades
- Any other in-game obtainable items your admins decide to sell
Items and prices are pulled from the database per guild. One server can run “cheap kits” while another goes full “hardcore grind” with higher prices.
3. How Items Are Delivered
When you buy something from the shop:
- Your purchase is stored in AtomicBot's in-game queue for your account.
- Go in-game on the Rust server linked to that Discord.
- Use the appropriate quick chat / phrase (for example:
Here Take This). - The bot detects it and delivers your queued item(s) via the server connection (WebRCON).
If nothing arrives in-game, make sure you are on the correct server, linked correctly, and have
actually purchased something with /shop.
4. Admin Management – Editing the Shop
Only users with the configured Bot Admin Role can manage the shop.
Open the Management Panel
/management
This command gives admins access to the secure OAuth-based management website, where they can:
- Toggle specific shop items on or off
- Adjust prices for each item
- Decide whether to use bot default prices or custom ones
- Control which predefined categories are visible to players
Defaults come from the global item template, while per-guild overrides are stored in
your guild-specific shop tables (e.g. shop_guild_items).
Quick Notes
- /shop works only in the configured shop channel.
- Each guild has its own shop configuration and prices.
- Purchases are tracked in the database for safety and logging. Users canb see Recent Purchases VIA command
/dashboard
- In-game currency (scrap) is separate; this shop uses the bot's currency system.
- For advanced setup help, ask in the AtomicBot developer Discord.
