Linking Your Account
Linking your Discord account to your Rust Console player name is the first step
toward unlocking currency rewards, BattlePass XP, Snag-A-Whip vehicle claims,
personal stats, shop purchases, and more.
It's super simple — just follow the steps below.
1. Run the Linking Command
/link
Use this in your Discord server. The bot will DM you instructions.
You will be asked for your in-game name so the bot can match you.
2. Enjoy Your Rewards
Once linked, you automatically start receiving:
- Currency for kills
- BattlePass XP
- Playtime tracking
- Shop access (via
/shop) - Vehicle claiming with Snag-A-Whip
- Daily rewards
- Leaderboard tracking
Admin Linking Tools
Force Link a Player
/adminlink <user> <in-game-name>
Overrides the normal linking process and directly attaches a Discord account to an in-game name. Useful for players who cannot verify in-game or when resolving name collisions/duplicate users.
Unlink a Player
/unlink <user>
Removes the connection between a Discord user and their in-game Rust account. This wipes their verified link but does not delete playtime, currency, BattlePass XP, statistics, or historical data.
All linking and unlinking actions are recorded in the database for audit and tracking.
Troubleshooting
- If your name changed in game, run
/linkagain. - Admins can manually fix links using
/adminlink.
