Watchers & Kill Feed System
AtomicBot includes a powerful suite of automated real-time server watchers that monitor world events, spawns, kills, and global activities — pushing announcements straight into Discord the moment they happen. Each watcher is fully configurable and designed specifically for Rust Console Edition’s limitations, ensuring fast, accurate, and stylish alerts.
Kill Feed System
The Kill Feed watcher analyzes every death event that occurs on the server and posts a stylized, comedic, or dramatic message directly to your Kill Feed, PvP Feed, or NPC Slaughter channels depending on the type of kill.
- Automatically categorizes kills (PvP, NPC, Environment)
- Hundreds of unique, funny kill lines
- No weapon detection needed — AtomicBot works with any attack source
- Constantly growing library of kill messages (you can request new ones anytime)
- Full Discord embed styling for clean, readable feeds
Sample Kill Feed Messages:
💀 Kill Feed ICE-sumth1n-ep1c was somehow caught lacking near a bear (Bear) 🔥 NPC Slaughter ICE-sumth1n-ep1c reminded Scientist that bullets are faster than science ⚔️ PvP Feed TLR Smoke forgot how to Rust thanks to Player owned Mini Chopper
New lines are added regularly and update instantly without bot restart.
Heli Watcher
The Heli Watcher alerts your server the moment a Patrol Helicopter enters the map. This helps players prepare, hide, gear up, or hunt it.
- Triggers instantly when heli spawns
- Live announcement posted to your Heli Watch channel
- Future update will add “heli destroyed” + coordinates
- 100% automatic — no admin interaction required
Bradley Watcher
The Bradley Watcher monitors the Launch Site Bradley APC and posts alerts to Discord when it respawns and when it is destroyed.
- “Bradley is online” alerts upon respawn
- “Bradley destroyed!” alerts with approximate coordinates
- Does not show who killed it (not possible in RCE yet)
- Helps players know when it’s safe to farm launch again
Additional tracking (damage logs, kill attribution) will be added when RCE exposes the data.
Cargo Ship Watcher
The Cargo Watcher posts an alert the instant the Cargo Ship enters the world. Perfect for groups racing to control the ship early.
- Triggers as soon as Cargo spawns
- Announces direction + warning message
- Future update: crate drop monitoring
Supply Drop Watcher
Whenever a supply drop is incoming, the watcher announces it with an estimated location.
- Lights up Discord with “Supply Drop incoming!”
- Shows approximate drop coordinates
- Alerts players to free loot falling from the sky
Perfect for players farming early wipe resources.
Channel Setup
Each watcher posts into a channel configured with the /setconfig channels ... command. You must configure these once per guild.
/setconfig channels killfeed <#channel> /setconfig channels supplydrop <#channel> /setconfig channels bradwatch <#channel> /setconfig channels heliwatch <#channel> /setconfig channels cargowatch <#channel>
Recommended Channel Layout:
| Watcher | Suggested Channel Name |
|---|---|
| Kill Feed | #🔫︱ᴋɪʟʟ-ꜰᴇᴇᴅ︱🔫 |
| Supply Drop Feed | #🎁︱ꜱᴜᴩᴩʟy-ᴅʀᴏᴩꜱ︱🎁 |
| Bradley Watch | #🪖︱ʙʀᴀᴅ-ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜ︱🪖 |
| Heli Watch | #🚁︱ʜᴇʟɪ-ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜ︱🚁 |
| Cargo Watch | #🚢︱ᴄᴀʀɢᴏ-ᴡᴀᴛᴄʜ︱🚢 |
Troubleshooting
- No alerts? → RCON connection dropped or misconfigured.
- Wrong channels? → Re-run
/setconfig channels .... - No kill feed? → Kill feed toggle is off in
guild_servers. - Bradley not posting killer? → RCE does not expose precise killer data.
- Multiple alerts? → Player reconnect spam / RCE double-fire event (rare).
